Let's see. I'm taking AP US History, which just meets after school as an addendum to the regular class. Honors Pre-Calc is hell since Patterson is a shitty teacher who tries to go too fast for the first three quarters of a year and then suddenly relaxes. Or maybe it was just last year. No, wait, we had a test the second Tuesday of school, so I'm right.
I'm pissed that I'm in Honors English, since I was supposed to be in AP. Of course, crappy tiny Shorecrest has every single fucking one-period course the same goddamned period it seems, so I had to choose between it and AP French and playwriting, so I went with French. Journalism was a filler class since I would have had a schedule. Craven slipped me in there with no experience, even though it's supposed to be the editor class. Oh well. And I'm with all seniors, which makes it soooo enjoyable. The teacher is a total asshole, but, hey, I have another page to talk about that kind of crap.
AP French is kind of scary since the exam is fucking impossible, and, lest I forget, the class has a whole three people in it. Me and two genius senior girls. The only nice thing is that she'll let us out early and give us the period free if we need it.
I took AP Computer Science for a few days and then dropped it because it was a total waste of my time. The teacher, Patterson, can't teach, doesn't know C++, and, oh, right, is a psycho bitch. So I decided to have a lunch. Then I have theatre, which is always fun, since, well, it's theatre, and I'm even getting parts this year. I was supposed to have Physics, but since that's a blowoff class and I really wanted to take drama, I took it instead. Just going to take AP Physics next year.
And as my last class and last AP, Biology. I'm taking this mainly since Hyink is a kickass teacher, and I don't want to take AP Bio and AP Physics both next year, and one on one Physics would win out. It also takes out all the crap I hated about bio my freshman year, like lab practicals and memorizing taxonomy.
It's not too bad of a schedule, lots of hard classes, far too much homework, but hey, I survived last year.
